The data management section and the support services group are responsible for sample custody in the laboratory, sample log-in, sample tracking, accounting, and report generation.  Data management maintains and operates the laboratory's custom developed computerized laboratory information management systems (LIMS).  Data management is the heart of analytical flow and sample management.
